River Fort Ranch is conveniently located in the Northern Colorado town of Greeley, just 45 minutes from both Fort Collins and Denver International Airport. Our ideal Colorado wedding venue location provides easy access for all ages–without the high altitude adjustments or mountain road drives.

River Fort Ranch is an ideal setting for all types of weddings, from microweddings under 40 guests to large weddings with 200 guests or more. Turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend with onsite lodging and a wide range of add-on experiences.

We are open for weddings year-round, and each season provides a unique setting for your special day. Experience the ranch in its full natural splendor during spring/summer; enjoy the colorful foliage in fall; or create a stunning stark backdrop in winter. No matter the season, your wedding celebration will be stunning any time of year.

Our spacious and serene ranch can accommodate 200 guests or more. The flexible indoor and outdoor event venue spaces are great for weddings of all sizes: from intimate microweddings all the way up to large wedding events.

All our indoor event venue spaces, including the Fort Lodge and Legacy Barn, are fully climate controlled for your comfort.

We require liability insurance for all weddings and events to ensure a safe and secure celebration. You must purchase and provide proof of event insurance for $1,000,000 per incident/per event.

River Fort Ranch is a private 245-acre property with no adjacent neighbors. There are no noise limits or curfews, so you can enjoy your music and festivities without restrictions.

Our dedicated property and event staff handle ceremony and reception setup and tear-down, including tables, chairs and bar service. You and your wedding vendors are responsible for setting up/tearing down any additional event decor or equipment that you bring onto the property.

Our friendly team is onsite throughout your event to assist with setup, coordination and guest services. We do not provide wedding planning services prior to the event day, aside from venue coordination.

Couples are welcome to bring in their own outside vendors or choose from our curated list of preferred vendors. The vendors on our list have been selected for their proven experience delivering high-quality catering, florals, photography, and more. You must provide proof of license and insurance for all outside vendors 60 days prior to the event.

River Fort Ranch is a western wedding venue with lodging on site. You and your guests can stay on the property in our historic Suites, Courtyard Bedrooms, Farmhouse, glamping yurts or covered wagon–with space for up to 60 overnight guests. All buildings and parking areas at River Fort Ranch are ADA accessible to ensure a comfortable experience for guests of all ages. Our ranch family would be delighted to host your multi-generational wedding celebration.

River Fort Ranch offers breathtaking backdrops for photography. Choose from our riverfront beach, the Cottonwood Grove, longhorn cattle pastures, historic buildings and sweeping meadows with mountain views.

Couples can customize their wedding experience with unique activities such as hay rides, river tubing, yoga, cooking classes, hatmaking, skeet shooting and much more. Our team prides itself on creating memorable moments for every guest.
